actually tried to count how many TOTV accounts someone has perhaps it is time for him/her to investigate a new hobby. There are over 2000 clubs here. Try one!

Excellent point. In today's internet world with VPN's, and anonymizers, blocking individual IP addresses make little sense. Anyway, IP addresses for most users are assigned dynamically, (they often change). ISP's have more customers than they have addresses available. Think of all the snowbirds that leave, why keep their addresses open? If they tracked me they would find hundreds.

If they blocked by, IP address, this is a possible scenario:

I go to The Savannah Center. Create a TOTV account, log in and post my diatribe about the current Whig party, in collusion with the Aliens about NASA dropping the SETI program. I get the IP address banned and no one can use TOTV there.

Also, did not know multiple accounts were against the rules....My bad!

(As a former IT security Manager for an International Company, I would often block groups of IP addresses from other countries, not individuals.)

PS. The rules state you can only have one account. I hope the admin's eventually have the capability of matching up different user names with the same IP address...and boot them ALL.

But I have one and my bride has one.............she does not agree with my opinions.
