I don’t get political ads but I get ads for things I look up on the internet.

The solution is to stop using Bing or Google or Yahoo as your search engine and switch over to a search engine that does not allow tracking.

What it actually says is no political references an ad is a reference. I don’t care how they get on the site they should be banned and penalized

THEY AREN’T ON THIS SITE!! They’re on YOUR computer only. Because YOU search about Politics often. Nobody else is seeing political ads. My ads are about bikes or skincare because that’s what I search the most currently. I have NEVER not once seen a political ad here NEVER NEVER EVER you clearly don’t understand….. how computers work.

He's read this explanation many times by now, but still persists in blaming TOTV. I think we should stop trying to enlighten him, it seems he just likes to be angry at "them"!

That is not a solution, it is only one place. The sites you visit when using duckduckgo all track you also. It could help, but it is not a solution.

This seems to be a difficult problem for some to understand.

This is a private business, they can run it how they want and ban what they want. If you are unhappy you are seeing political ads that no one else is seeing, well, don't use this site.

As an example, I used a phone GPS to get to a local store by golf cart. Never went to the store, wanted to go to a nearby store I couldn't remember.

That evening, my computer had ads for the store I never went to.

I've never had political ads on TOTV, and I don't have an ad-blocker.
