If you would read the title to the thread you would understand . The title clearly states that he may take a vacation , not that he was taking a vacation.

You might really benefit from a reading comprehension course, among several others.

The snowbirds arrive and just stand around in the sports pools and invite their grandkids into the adult pools and don't have a clue to the difference.

Yikes! That is quite a sweeping generalization!

Oh, I guess I am not as good a reader as you. I guess your better then I am. You know all about sarcasm and being critical. You are really more superior than I. You are one lucky guy.

Otherwise, this is paradise and you can almost duplicate it for an additional $100K per year in another retirement community.
Am I the only one to find humor in the recent posts? This one seems to be singling (hope that's a word...is it Gracie?) out us old folks and another thread is going after the younger crowd.

It is our desire to keep this site positive and a reflection of the good people who live at The Villages. It would be unrealistic on our part to expect all users to share the same points of view on topics and sometimes certain users can 'rub' each other the wrong way. If you find that to be the case you can go into your User CP and put a user on an ignore list and you will not see their comments. If you feel that a post is of concern you can click the triangle in the upper right corner of the post and it will be reported to the Admin and Moderators for a collective review and appropriate action, often private including account infractions and in extreme situations account probation and bans.

We thank everyone for their participation and support on Talk of the Villages!
