***A full size SUV coming out of the MMP tunnel under BV by Liberty Park
***A pick up truck crossing the Chitty-Chatty bridge
***A person stating they always drive in the RB outside lane to make the 270 left hand turn because HE thinks it's safer.
***A person who leaves Evans after playing golf in a regular cart, goes out the entrance to the RB and then down EP trail because they live there and it's shorter than going up to the tunnel
***And my favorite, a guy who posted he always drives 30 mph in the left lane of the 45 zone on 466 because HE thinks it's "fast enough"

But now we have a new one, perhaps because it's a double whammy: A regular golf cart on Morse, comes through the Hillsborough/Moyer Loop RB, then enters Moyer on the one way entrance lane the wrong way. Words do not do the visual justice.
A golf cart speeding on the walking path next to Fenny Drive with walkers and bicycles getting out of its way

We were Villages newbies when the hurricane hit in 9/17. I couldn’t believe the picture in the paper of a guy pushing his golf cart out of the flooded tunnel. They printed his name and village he lived in. I use to wonder if he left town due to extreme embarrassment! #ifonlygolfcartshadwings

Back in high school, 10th grade Driver's Ed classes, there was a large retirement community called Leisure World nearby. The behind-the-wheel teacher, also the football coach, used to call it Seizure World. He would make us drive over there for many of our lessons. He would tell us, "Kid, if you can learn to drive here, you can drive anywhere." Smart guy.

I get it, giving up the independence of driving is very difficult and I dread the day when I have to make that decision and will probably stay behind a wheel longer than I should.

To make matters worse, Villagers have a revolving door of visitors driving golf carts who don’t understand the intricacies of using a golf cart as a form of transportation versus driving on a golf course. There is definitely a steep learning curve for new Villages when it comes to learning how to get around safely via golf cart, and visitors typically are out of here before they figure it out.
Totally agree. Some newbies & guests seem to presume that “golf cart community” means carts can drive anywhere. No education is given to cart rental guests either. Need it.

The speed limit is set under ideal driving conditions. So, if it's raining, snowing or there is fog or heavy traffic or it's night time and there is poor lighting, then you need to slow down. What's your hurry? The bozos are the people who lost their lives because of their impatience.

I would like to know why Sheriff or Police don’t monitor Buena Vista and Morse for speeders. Does the Developer tell them to back off so as to not tarnish the “Friendly Hometown” image.

VERY common, only yesterday did i have to wait for the lady in front of me @ the stop sign to finish her text, . all i can do is roll my eyes & wave

If the posts you're referring to are really ridiculing others, I would agree with you. But in my opinion they're not: they're ridiculing the ridiculous and dangerous ACTIONS of others--totally different.

they are there, only we can't always see them. there's hiding spots, usually near a rec center. example: a sheriff frequently hangs out in the sea breeze rec center parking lot, over by the trees. (it's not always easy to see him.) another is over by moyer loop, close to 466a, near the golf course parking lot. there's plenty of unmarked vehicles too, the gear on the top or sides give them away.
