Actually, T&D spun off the pool service to a family member who later sold the company. After the sale, it was renamed Patriot pool service, which went downhill faster than Lindsey Vonn. T & D has since started up a new service company, T&D VIP pool service and repair. We are on a waiting list to become a customer as soon as they buy a new service truck and start a new service route in our area. They will only accept customers who had their pool built by T&D. We are very much looking forward to changing our service provider back to T&D.

Our pool guys came by daily weekend included, for 4 weeks, for chem checks and sweep. For the second month three times a week sweeping chem checks, we still swept daily. We chem check on the same day they did to compare. Then again I can text my guy anytime there is a problem and get a response within hours.

We watched 5 spec pools built, never noticed daily stop unless they were sweeping in the night.

Just curious. What happens if you don’t brush daily? What does a bad cure job look like? What happens?

I think it affects the color and texture. There is a lot of dust from the curing process that you want vacuumed up. Not sure otherwise.

FWIW I know how to take care of a pool and won’t be hiring a service. Was just curious if they do the initial daily sweeping. I will have to confirm with them since it seems inconsistent.

If not brushed regularly it can look mottled varying the color. If there is a ton of dust a robot on light floor only can remove without much effort.

The bonus for for you is if they know you are there everyday, T&D makes a better effort. Spec house not so much. Plus their free service can consist of less than 10 minutes total, depending on the tech

I will have eyes on them even if I’m not there. I’ll make my Nest cameras plainly obvious. This all depends on timing anyway. I could potentially be full time by the time the pool is ready.
