I was just looking through a thread where I read there were 900 members in the Parrot Head's Club, and I recall hearing there were 1,000 bikers in the motorcycle club.

Do you know any impressive bits of trivia that sort ot set TV apart from the rest?

Well, I've always liked the fact that we hold the Guinness record for the longest golf-cart parade: some 3,200 carts, surpassing the 1,100 or so set in Sun City Center, near Tampa. Our record was set on Labor Day weekend 2005. My niece and I had a ball participating.

I think it's highly unlikely that a new record will ever be set. I suspect that Bill Farmer, our Sumter County Sheriff will plead "logistically impossible" should anyone try to restage this event!

I am not 100% sure, but I think I may be the only English Parrothead club member!!

There are 288+/- Streetrods in The Villages, and 531+/- members in the Streetrod Club. Don't know what that may reflect....
