Can someone tell me how to insert a picture in my profile ???????

I sent you an email.

And here it is again.


There is more than one way to get there, but here is one.

Make sure the picture is no wider or deeper that 140 pixels. That is important.

To insert it as your picture
1. Go to any message you posted.
2. Click on your name at the left of the message
3. Click on View your Public Profile.
4. On the left side is the heading Modify Profile
5. Under it, click on Forum Profile Information
6. In the dialogue box that appears, go down and click the button in front of I will upload my own picture
7. Click on the Browse button and navigate to the location on your computer of the picture
8. Click on the picture so that its name appears in that text box (next to the Browse button)
9. Then drag down to the bottom of the dialogue and click Change Profile

Hate to sound stupid here, but how do I tell how many pixels my pic is???? Thanks!

Generally in image handling software you will see a size and resolution in dots per inch.

Search around in that software for ways to rescale your image, and set the image size to two inches wide and 72 dots per inch.

Let me know what image handling software you have, and maybe I can come up with a method.
