What is the best e-mail to use to report an issue at a sports pool?
I used the generic on-line contact form at TheVillages.com last week but didn't receive an acknowledgement and, despite the pool being closed for repairs all day yesterday, the issue wasn't fixed Thank you |

Maybe try another sports pool? We can actually say that as residents!

At our fitness center they use term Pins not pegs to attach lines for swim lanes. I am guessing a couple were missing, so the lane line could not be attached to the wall. If you have ever been to sports pool morning swimming it can be a major issue for some.

Another major issue at Laurel Manor is during the evening, when the schedule indicates it’s lap swimming time (all lanes) but the employees don’t put in the lanes. Many lap swimmers often show up during those times, specifically because of the schedule, figuring they have a good chance of getting an open lane, only to find a free for all where water walkers and swimmers are bumping into each other in the open water. As a backstroke swimmer, it’s nearly impossible to swim in a strait line without lanes (and not whack your head against the wall without swim flags), causing potentially dangerous collisions. I have had to call the front desk several times requesting the lanes get put in, sometimes getting rude comments from the employees who are only being asked to do their jobs. After speaking to the director of the Recreation Center directly, it has gotten better, but still happens less frequently than before. It’s not a big ask to simply abide by the published schedule. To add injury to insult, sometimes we the lap swimmers decide to put the lanes in ourselves, only to get scolded by the staff. If they simply did their jobs in a timely fashion, it wouldn’t ever be an issue.
