I like Publix. I have been in many of their stores starting with the one just up the street in Palm Harbor, FL in 1996. Very friendly and professional employees there at various Publixes. Quality goods but you do need to look for sales. Riviere Plaza | Publix Super Markets

NY has Wegman's, MD has Giant or Safeway, FL has Publix. I would have been amazed if it turned out to be anything else.

Doesn't seem exorbitant at all to me though maybe that's because I'm used to Wegman's and Giant. But hey, isn't it great that no one forces you to shop at Publix? I can reach an Aldi's, a Walmart Neighborhood Market, or a Winn Dixie by golf cart in less than 30 mins.

I can get my Kroger order in under 2 minutes. Walk to front door, open, close, no fuel, no people, everything on my list. My groceries budget dropped by 31% 10 years ago with Kroger delivery. When you’re sick someone delivers Kleenex, medicine, and soup, no need to pass on any germs

Similar situation, only we use Walmart. Less expensive vs. Publix and surprisingly produce from Walmart is as good as Publix.

Not having to shop is a huge plus. Publix at Magnolia is such a zoo!

We're more into quality and would chose Publix over a Walmart or Kroger store any day of the week. But, thankfully, there are nice choices for all of us so everyone can be happy. Also, we don't want others picking out our groceries and we are fortunate that we can still do our own shopping regularly.

On a positive note, it should take the pressure off of the Magnolia Plaza Publix.
