I am planning 5-7 night trip to TV in July, to coincide with July 4th. I will be visiting relatives, but want to take advantage of my time there to enjoy town celebrations and special events taking place the first week in July. I can't find an events calendar for July (found June activities calendar but doesn't seem to help). I seem to remember there was a shopping cart night at one of the town squares, do they still have them? Any suggestions on "fun or interesting stuff" to do while i am there besides the daily activities and nightly entertainment/Kathy Belle's? I've done those (and love them!!!) but figured I should explore even more this time. Sorry I won't be there for the Crispers meet up in July but I plan to be back in Nov/Dec for an extended stay when I will definitely join you, can't wait! Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Thank you njbchbum, lots of info there! I chuckled at your "Jersey girls don't pump gas" wording at the bottom. That's one thing I'll miss when I leave NJ - last time I had to fill up for gas outside of NJ I sat in my car waiting patiently for the attendant, until I got ugly stares from folks and had to run out and start pumping my own gas...I'd better get used to that, huh?

On the 5th of July the combination Villages Concert Band and Villages New Horizon Concert Band will be presenting two concerts at the Savannah Centre. The first will kick off at 3 PM and the second at 7PM. Money for tickets go to the Fisher House fund. This is temporary housing for husbands, wives and kids who parent was severly injured in the Middle East.

Coming in for a week stay. 4 July - 12 July.
Looking for Fireworks on the 4th.
