Ace hardware does that, but the automatic kee cutter at Walmart does a much better job, and does it cheaper too.

My two cents worth, due to inflation it is now two bucks. You mention an old key. Hopefully you have an unused copy. The key cutting machine uses your key as a sample. After years of living in the US. Hum, I find stuff on my to do list like magic move to my shoulda done list all by themselves.
