Kids & grandkids coming Dec 30th to Jan 5th
I am renting near Spanish Springs from Jan to March (my first time renting) and my daughter, son-in-law and grandkids (ages 9 and 11) are coming down to help me "settle in" from Dec. 30 to Jan 5th. Any suggestions what to see and do at that time for them?? I understand Disney is really overcrowded at this time but is there anything in the Villages I'll be able to share with them since I'm only renting?? New Years Eve fun for family??? Thanks for any help you can give me
Wishing I was a real resident of TV!!! |

I know the Recreation Department sponsors a lot of activities for children in the summer. You might check with them to see if they are doing anything similar during the Holidays.
I believe, as a renter, you have the same privileges as a resident. You should check that out too. There is a place nearby called Uncle Donald's Farm. It seems to be popular for the younger set. Check it out here http://www.lakecountyfl.gov/hometown...alds_farm.aspx |

Angel....Uncle D's Farm is a great place!! Also if you do a search on this site for grandkids....you will find MANY things in and around TV's!!! Seeing as this is your first time renting in TV's you may want to stay close to "home"....there are pools, if it is warm enough....and golf carting if you have one (with a seat belt in the back) is more fun for them then you can possibly imagine!!
Just bringing them to ice cream, the squares for dancing and entertainment and golf carting around will bring them MUCH joy!!! With that joy you will be joyful as well!!!

Silver Springs is only about 30 min away. It is like a mini zoo. Has a glass bottom boat and a jeep safari. Animals of course. My g-daughter loved it.
