Agreed. I did a exact coverage to coverage comparison to our current insurer (Travelers through Villages Insurance) about 2 months ago when they were first mentioned here. Traveler's raised our rate $22, about 2%, this past July on renewal and around $10 the previous year and they (Kin) were about $25 less. Competitive but not worth taking a chance for $25. One never knows though because next July Travelers might triple my policy ???? It's a crap shoot with insurance rates around here.

I went with Kin and they were 20% less than anything The Villages Insurance could find. Added flood insurance for $100. I know we are not in a flood zone, but nothing is normal right now with global warming going on.

Kin offers discount for taking depreciated value roof coverage. Make sure you have apples to apples comparison

We went with Kin last year when our carrier through Geico stopped writing coverage in Florida. Kin was by far the least expensive, and was very professional to work with.

AAA has too much exposure to older roof clients, so rates are going up for all, more with older roofs. Bundle auto will reduce premium. Very little difference between company charges, but, who has the deepest pockets for claims.

Could not agree more. That is why we stay with USAA.

Default Kin and Farmers had best rates

Started looking for new home owners policy after my current one (Centauri) almost doubled. Farmers and Kin had the best rates I could find. Both needed a wind mitigation report but Farmers also needed a 4 point inspection (about $100), So I went with Kin.
