I have a quote from KIN that is 30% less than my renewal from ASI Progressive. I have heard KIN is known for low rates the first year, and then jumping up the next.

Does anyone have firsthand experience with them, their rates, claim processing, and renewals?

I used them for 1 year, then my premium doubled.

Insurance is a yearly who’s got the best rate this year. We used Kin first year was $1100 less, Didn’t require us to replace a roof, that was 13yo, compared to current policy. Second year $241 increase with original roof. Can’t give you a third year..we sold the house.

Recently, we received a low-ball estimate from Kin.

The absence of auto, cart and umbrella coverage was a significant drawback.

KIN is not a traditional Insurance Carrier. Check them out. I got a low price but after research went with a traditional carrier.
