We use CBD cream from the PMA Pharmacy in LSL. It’s expensive, but just a little is needed. I picked it up for my Sweetie when I was in the area. Better pharmacies may carry it. Doctor suggested, but no prescription needed. It really works for aches and pains. I occasionally use it on my feet. Great for arthritis.

Hyaluronic acid
My husband put off knee surgery for years by taking hyaluronic acid capsules. I also told my brother about it and his knee pain went away entirely, at least so far and it’s been about a year and a half. It’s fairly cheap and certainly worth a try before jumping into surgery. Good luck!

I had a friend with terrible knee pain, but it was osteoarthritis. They used a CBD capsule with turmeric (the turmeric reduces inflammation) & reported great reduction in pain. I have been looking at the company that supplied the product & I no longer see the one with turmeric. But that could be easily remedied at home, use both CBD & turmeric capsules. Use some black pepper with the turmeric as it increases bioavailability. Usually turmeric caps with black pepper included, are more expensive & they say contains 'bioperine' - just a fancy name for the ground black pepper in your kitchen. Since you should eat something with fat in it for the turmeric absorption, just sprinkle pepper on it.
Good luck |
Tinker, I've had increased knee pain recently, making walking very, very difficult. I picked up some CBD 'salve' 1000 mg and it worked perfectly within 15 minutes. KMRELIEF.COM
YOU can access it directly from the company, legally. KM Salve. But, I have found it to work, but it doesn't last. So I went to the Ortho Institute to determine what I had done to my poor knee! I was shocked to hear that it was arthritis, bone on bone, and TKR is definitely in my future. They gave me the option of cortesone shot. Nope! I did not take them up on it, as I didn't want steroids in my body. A month passed and I called them back and scheduled for a cortesone shot. WOW! It worked miracles from June -January, when I just got another. Best wishes Tinker |
CBD Pain Relief
QUOTE=villagetinker;2306924]I am having increased knee pain recently and I am looking for information on any pain medications (cremes) that can be applied to the knees to relieve the pain. I am sure this is muscular pain, and some of the OTC cremes do seem to offer some relief.
So if you found one that worked well that is what I am looking for, I will be going back to my doctor in a few weeks, so I do not need a doctor referral UNLESS this would be required for a specific creme (CBD based?) Thank you for any information.[/QUOTE] I have had great relief with a CBD Cream from Warner's Best. I have used it on my knees for over two years. I use the 2000mg/Hemp Extract, 4oz. |
I get great relief from Green Roads Heat Relief CBD Roll-On - 750mg. Green Roads is a very reputable company according to my doctor. So is Charlotte's Web. What I have found works amazingly well is orgain brand collagen peptides daily. Apparently bone broth also works but I prefer the peptides. Get an MRI to be sure you are treating properly. My friend just found out she has a torn meniscus which is causing her pain. Good luck!

For my knee pain, my best relief is strengthening the other leg muscles. They take over the wear you put on your knees. A few times at a rehab and they’ll give you a set of the best excercises for your needs.

WOW, I want to thank all of you for the information, for those of you that asked, yes I have a knee doctor and will be seeing him in the next couple of months. No bone on bone per the last exam, I have also been experimenting with heat and the hot tub and this appears to be lessening the pain. I will be trying some of the other suggestions, great info.
