I believe the bond on the lots on the north side of the lake were 54,000. When I asked the realtor it was $5x,000 for sure. I dont think I asked about lakeview, I just assumed the bond would be similar. The price of the house/lot got so high I didn't really pay attention.

6-7 years ago the last lot on Conservation Trail was listed for 545k. Not sure what it sold for. Four or five doors down from that residence is the most expensive house in the area and it sold a few years back for 3.7 million. No idea on bond but property tax on that one is 37k a year . The birdcage over the pool is larger than my house!

Well, if you pay enough, you too can:

Have a pond that leaks because of a sinkhole
(Oh wait, that happened way back almost a month ago in the new section)

Music pumped into your backyard beyond your control every night till 9 PM complete with announcements

Ownership of close proximity to a future Dollar General store for all your shopping needs

You forgot people continously walking the trail around the lake. The trail is directly behind these homes.

OP's question is regarding the Village of Lakeview. Not new homes on the lake.

The bond for the new Lakeview lots released yesterday (1/10) is $47,888. I have this info straight from my Villages sales agent.

Back in the day, there was a lot on Conservation Trail for $600K. I remember because I bet $5 that there couldn't possibly be a lot for sale in the Villages for $600K and lost.

In 2000 lake front on a championship golf course not retention pond lots were $70,000-100,000 and the bond was $5,000.

Bond costs are listed here:

Very nice the new residents are paying for the palace at Eastport/Olympia.

If you are speaking of the pond near street of dreams.....not a sink hole..unless one considers a perfectly round hole that only a pipe could make.... Or maybe developer designed a custom sink hole

It has the uncanny resemblance of the sinkhole in Ashland back in 2012. Maybe water draining makes the hole look circular? Either way, it is certain the setback wasn’t planned. Just another mistake. It’s probably a pond thing. The newer sections seem to be getting it worse. Monarch Grove had an entire street closed last summer.
