Default Lanai Floor

I would like to do something with my Lanai floor but not sure what to do. What do others do with theirs. I would rather not spend too much on this. I was thinking maybe simply painting it so it would be easier to clean/wash than the rough cement that is on their now. Would welcome other suggestions.

Who do you recommend I get to do this?

We had a company come in and paint our floor. It is cream with a brown speckles and faux brown/tan brick going around the edges. I have also seen it done in a tile formation. It is just paint, no grit. It is easy to clean with just a power washer. We had it painted 8 years ago and it still looks good. Our neighbor had grit put in his and finds it hard to clean with the dirt getting stuck in the grit. I'm thinking if I remember right the company who did it was

Since my lanai is not enclosed and I am not sure what I want to do with the floor, I bought a nice, big indoor/outdoor rug at Sam's Club that looks great! Now I have time to decide what I want to do and my lanai floor looks nice in the meantime.

Chatahoochie river rock. Beautiful, durable, care-free surface, if you are willing to spend about $800 - $1000.

Agree completely on the river rock. We did the lanai and an outside concrete pad (to be used for a grill) and are very happy. Without the pad the price above is accurate.

Another vote for the River Rock. We have it in our lanai and our rental's Lanai. We love it in both places! Never looks dirty yet cleans easily, feels nice on the feet, looks great!

Vote for chatahoochie river rock. Had it for 12 years. Great. Just reseal every 3-4 years. Paint is slippery when wet or dew in the morning . Cleaning with a hose twice a year is all you need to do.

Used Go Concrete Designs. Great job. Great Service. Paid $1200 for a designer lanai. My own original design.

Chatachoochie river rock is great! Never any standing water, not slippery, feels fabulous to walk on with bare feet, beautiful too.

We had an outdoor pool when raising our family and had river rock for the pool deck. Safest thing to have around a pool. Never slippery. We knew that was what we wanted for our Lanai when we moved here.

We get lots of compliments on ours. We also did our front entry. It really is a beautiful finish. If it is not in full sun it will only need clear sealer every 3-5 yrs.

Matt installed ours. i can't find his number right now, but if you do a search here you will find him. He has 6-8 standard colors and custom mixed ours to include more grey.

Couldn't be happier with it!!

We had Mid-State Stone install Chattahoochee River Rock on our lanai nearly two years ago. It looks great... not slippery... and cleans easily. Vacuum up any dust or pollen, then hose it off.
