Our screen enclosure, above our chlorine pool area, is about 13 years old and we recently had all of the screens and screws successfully replaced. We are now having an issue with the powder coating bubbling and chipping off, and are looking for recommendations for someone who can scrape and repaint all or at least the problem areas. Any advice would be welcomed.
Thanks in advance! Last edited by snram; 11-07-2022 at 10:59 AM. |

I did a lot of research, and never came up with a suitable method to "repair" a paint job on aluminum. My suggestion, find a primer for aluminum, use very fine SANDPAPER to clean the area. Do NOT use steel wool or ANY steel based tools. Apply primer, and apply final paint, cross fingers and pray.
