100% with both negative and positive posts. The positives are like an advertisement of what is so great about TV. The negatives keep everything real. Even though TV is close to a perfect paradise, we all know that nothing is perfect. I would not want to read only positive because then I would think "What's wrong with this picture?" By reading both (and I might add there is very little negative about TV) I know what is awaiting me once I do get there in 2-4 years. and can hardly wait!!

I have visited several times prior to purchasing and each time was positive. I've not experienced any negative to this point. But it is good to know what negative is out there.

I don't mean to discourage anyone from TV. Quite the opposite. It is like an adult Disney World, but even Disney World has issues. So for anyone sitting on the fence - - - ya'll come on down, The Price Is Right!!

Where else can you join probably more than 5,000 other people spending a long afternoon jammed together in their golf carts, waiting for the call "Gentlemen, start your engines," then another hour creeping (most of the time) on a tortuous route of 2.2 miles, AND ENJOY EVERY MINUTE OF IT?????

Outsiders still don't believe me!

1. This time of year, the weather is wonderful.
2. The community is absolutely beautiful, all throughout
the year.
3. The people are friendly, caring and there when
needed.
4. Driving around in a golf cart is like having a convertible
5. Feel free to continue on....................
My list:
6. I agree with all of the above.
7. Sitting outside having a drink and enjoying watching a sports event with a cool breeze making you feel wonderful.
7. Being with people who while enjoying themselves at that moment and are planning for the next time they are going to have fun.
8. The restaurants for when you don't feel like cooking or when one is around and about and hungry.
9. The palm trees somehow making me feel like I'm on a toprical island and the relaxing feeling I get.
10. People who don't care about one's station in life and are just looking to have a good time.
11. The many things there are to do.

I'm still a wannabe but my goal is to become a frog.

...having the annoyance of your golf cart breaking down lessened by most people stopping to ask if you need help, or a tow, rather than swearing at you for making them a few seconds late.

Did you notice that I never mentioned palm trees, great weather, no snow, lovely breezes, manicured lawns, etc,,,, because I come from Los Angeles, which has some of the most beautiful communities in So Cal, but some of the worse people and tempers... I came here looking for fun, good humor, lots of good friends and activities and boy have I found them all!!!!

60 "Parade Magazine" size pages of activities a week... if someone can't find "something" they like to do there then I feel bad for them! At least that is what I have told everyone that asks us about why we bought in TV.

Being from the north where this time of year it's cold and possibly snowy...I count this place as a wonderful place to be. "Get to" wear summer type clothing most times of the year. Now still get to go to the pool and eat out on the veranda and play golf in shirtsleeves. LOVE The Villages for much, much more! Once heard a counselor say...take a piece of paper and write down ALL the positive things about _____ (put name in the space)---then write a list of all the negatives things. More than likely the former line will be MUCH, MUCH longer than the latter.

Default The list could go on and on

*1st day at rental...invite to Springdale Germanfest
*Month before we moved in...open house at Gracie's
*Able to meet owners of house that we bought...lots of nice memories
*Standing in line at Katie Belle's for buffet and found ourselves sharing table with the folks in line ahead of us
*Day before we moved in...Maggie's pumpkin muffins arrived
*Went on our 1st long distance golfcart ride last night and the bugger broke down after 2 miles...the nicest people came to our rescue and Shawn (Sean, Shaune) w ****aide was a wealth of info and is a Deadhead!
*Called Jim this morning about the cart and immed response with a loaner arrived
*Bought a chest of drawers for $5, came home and neighbor immed came across the street to help unload.
*Our stuff looks like it was meant to be moved in here (and we're not what you call mainstream)!
*My dog is doing great!!!
