CFrance - haha - I invited my 85 lb Aussie into the shower this morning and being the loyal, dedicated, best friend that he is he came right in. I didn't have time to do anything with this situation 'cause I had to get to work, but I now know he will enter without a question and I can bathe him no problem in the shower. He does get stinky between groomings, unlike the standard poodle, but then would you expect anything less from a poodle???

Poodles have an image to uphold!

I like the idea of having the sink in the garage and putting a storage pantry in the laundry room. I can't see in our designer's garage where the sink would fit, though.

When I bought my home over 3 years ago I looked at that sink and said to myself that's going to go to make more space. Now, I couldn't do without it. It's the only way to fill a bucket and being in my gagage next to my water heater it gets almost instant hot water. It's great for washing my hands after doing things in the garage or yard.

Default Prefer garage sink over laundry room sink

I have the laundry sink in my garage at Swimdawg North and it's in the laundry room in Swimdawg South. I remember asking if I could have a sink in the garage when I was building in Swimdawg South. My sales person said it wasn't necessary because one would be in the laundry room. It works....but I would like one in the garage.

I took Lexi for a walk yesterday not realizing that the park was all muddy. My blond dawg turned a yucky muddy color....and it was so nice to take her out of the car after our walk and put her in my garage tub and scrub-a-dub-dub. Voila! My cute blond dawg reappeared.

We did the same at our design meeting. Works great for us and couldn't live without my utility sink.

Wondering if you could make a cap for the sink...that way you have a flat place to use until and if you need the sink? Who would make such a thing? Or has someone done this with something that was repurposed?
Also, if you moved it to the garage from the inside laundry room. How much did it cost and who did the work?
Thanks
