Had the same experience as Shimpy. Also, after checking with neighbors with the best looking lawns, we decidedto give the so-called "loathed company" a try since that is who they were using. This will be the fourth service we've tried. Can't be any worse than the others were.

Maybe you have the secret of putting limbs back on a ruined hedge? :-/ Service Smart cut deeply between the hollies in my side hedge leaving about a foot between bushes. The owner would not return a call but did choose to send a refund instead of a small claims suit.

Also re the dyed yards..yes, the early fertilizer is now working and looks nice. However, UF recommends waiting for April in central Fl. In case of late freeze.
Also recommends for zoysia cultivars, less fertlizer at once, used more often to avoid stressing the root to support overly vigorous growth.
