The golf course I saw the dog being walked was on Odell Circle South. I guess it was Mallory golf course.

My understanding is the golf carts are not supposed to exceed 20 MPH. I assumed the speed limit is also 20 MPH on the MMP and the diamond lanes. Is that an incorrect assumption? I have never seen speed limit signs on MMPs so does that mean you can go as fast as your golf cart can go?

Technically, if a cart were to ONLY ever drive on a MMP (almost impossible) and never on a surface street (dedicated lane or not), there's no law on how fast it can go...as there is no legally enforceable speed limit laws on the MMP's.
The minute it hits a surface street however, it must NOT BE CAPABLE of exceeding 20mph...regardless of the speed you're actually driving it. |
