Better have good insurance if someone is injured while you are driving above speed limits or using unauthorized vehicle!

It is not legal…nor is it smart…to drive vehicles such as smart cars, motorcycles, or mopeds on any of the multi-modal paths in The Villages.

Just a quote from the District web site.
I guess when you throw a click bait post all kids of responses can be expected.
Maybe earlier posts were right…..looking for an argument.

Can I only operate my ATV or go-kart on my property or I can actually ride it on the street in Gainesville? | Meldon Law.

Take a look.

It's legal until it's not.

Probably at least 99% of the carts in TV have those features.

I don’t know. But why would you need to use a go cart? Isn’t the normal golf cart good enough? Why spoil a good thing by throwing wax into the works for all the rest of the community? Why reinvent?

Also, I do not recall ever seeing a go cart with turn signals, headlights, emergency flashers, etc.
Something I’ve wondered about with LSVs is that are they allowed on the MMPs without being registered? Do they only have to be registered and insured is they are driven on roads? Would the police pull someone over for going over 20mph on a MMP? Do they patrol the MMPs.

I don't see why not as long a you govern the speed down at 20 MPH...right?
What about a Smart car with a 20 MPH speed limiter? Or a Kandi K27 limited to 20 MPH?

Your last line makes it seem that your post is looking for humor. Show anger? Condescending verbiage. I honestly try not to stoop to that level.

If, you are really looking for an answer. First of all a reply to a cop but some pseudo-name on talk of the villages said............ A cop may not laugh but may pull out his sobriety meter.

If, you want an answer I would ask the police. I HIGHLY DOUBT IT IS OK
I've not seen any peddle cars, horses, lamas, camels either I HIGHLY DOUBT THEY ARE OK EITHER.
