Hulu and you tube require internet access. Are spectrum and xfinity including internet or just TV.

Omnivision is illegal as hell. Do you think the NFL is ok with you being able to watch every televised game across the country? Sunday Ticket is $350/$480 a season. Its the same with every other college and professional game.

There was another thread where this was brought up. If you do record it then you would be subject to being charged with a felony. But if you just watch it, there is no precedent for people being prosecuted. Now the people installing it are a different story. If there any lawyers around please chime in.

I tried to find information on Omnivision and came up with nothing. Not even on the internet. I doubt the servers are in the US.

Omnivision also streams movies while they are still in the Theatres and just about every other movie ever produced.

What a deal, huh?

My friend has it. I tried to find information on Omnivision and came up with nothing. Not even on the internet. I doubt the servers are in the US.
I could not agree more. ILLEGAL! They are selling stolen content.

Here's one list: Hulu vs. YouTube TV vs. Sling TV vs. DirecTV Stream channels - CNET

If you are considering a service you should check that channel lineup as there likely are differences between this list and their actual channel lineup. You may notice that Xfinity is missing. We changed from them to YouTube TV because of their steadily increasing pricing.

Streaming is for the birds. You have to subscribe to multiple streaming service to get all the channels and they raise the price quickly just like the Comcast and Spectrum. Streaming is clunky to use and your whole Tv experience is dependent on the internet. Some villagers are using illegal fire sticks to steal the programing which is another problem . We golf with a couple who were using one of these illegal fire sticks and are being sued by programers for 100,000 dollars for using one of these fire sticks . They got caught as part of raids that took place in Polk County and in Kentucky. I guess the same crooks provide the fire sticks nation wide. When they get caught the authority's gain access to end users. ( ( if you google illegal fire stick Polk Count and Kentucky you will see clips of the raids. ) . If you steal from billion dollar corporations that own the channels you are playing with fire. If any individual or business try to sell you one of these fire sticks and tells you they are legal please do not fall for it. If you have an illegal fire stick I would stop using it .

services like omnivision.us are illegal . They are stealing the programing and sporting events and selling them to unsuspecting consumers. The tip off is you are able to avoid blacks outs and get thousands of dollars worth of channels for 365 dollars a year . A couple we golf with are being sued for 100,000 dollars because they were using a similar service . The programers and sports leagues are billion dollar corporations and are actively cracking down on signal theft. When the company's and individuals that sell the services get raided the authorities gain access to the end users and are actively making examples of them .

Don't be surprised if your comments get deleted. That is what happened on a thread where omnivision was discussed before.

Home internet and WiFi

You would think trying to warn people would be appreciated.

I don't think you can get the cable news stations on Omnivision. Is that right?

Explained very well here.

edit.
It usually involves "jail breaking" a Google Chromecast device which is not illegal.

When I started with YTTV it was $45/month and included NESN. Those days are long gone.[/QUOTE]

Same situation for me, but I lost the YES Network.

hmm, first hand knowledge of risks of wanting to feel special and steal / cheat the system. . and everyone wants to feel special by cheating the system, until it doesn't work any more. .

like everything in life, it works like historical precedence until it doesn't. .

I prefer at this age to just follow the rules. . . helps me sleep at night knowing I don't have to feel special. .
