I've had good luck with Wildwood Tire on the south side of Rt. 44, near 301. They are friendly and honest people. I've taken two of our vehicles there when I thought they needed new brakes. They did a thorough check and told me I didn't need the work done, and didn't charge me either time. I've had them do alignments, oil changes, A/C repair and a rear differential seal replacement, all at reasonable prices.

I concur with Outahere's observations and experiences at Wildwood Tire & Auto. Can't go wrong there, imho. Good luck!

If you use TriCounty make sure you get quoted repair price in writing, they ripped me off. Quoted one price and charged different price when picking up. Denied conversation that preceded repair. My fault I guess, but I will not go there again.

Hi, a word of caution about some of the Independents in the area. Enough said, but be careful and be sure you know or have in writing what will be done and what is the cost. Rip OFFs are in the area.

Michael's Auto Repair on Villa Ave in Fruitland Park. 466A east, one block short of 441. Make right onto Villa Ave.
352.365.2955. Always fair and reasonable. Does great work too!
