I only use an iPhone for TOTV and have no problems at all. Sorry you’re having trouble. When I first joined I learned quickly how difficult it is to get any kind of customer service help here if needed, so I hope some of the ideas here help you. I would definitely try clearing out your Safari cache, and then powering your phone off and on. Many bugs can be cleared out just doing that. Good luck!

Please call Apple before removing or changing anything. An Apple agent will walk you through a solution. If by chance you get an agent who’s unable to help you, ask for a supervisor. 800.275.2273

I use Google with iPhone & various desktops. Are your devices synced ? Google does that - you can begin work on one device & continue that work on another device after they’re synced. I had the opposite issue - getting Google not to sync.

Using a VPN is a whole other can of worms and not related to the original question.

Let me know how that works out for you.

Unless you have AppleCare, Apple offers NO FREE Telephone Technical Support after 90 days (except on some watches).

Online support is available (sort of), but only as it relates to the product itself or its operating system ... not the interaction with other software.

Again, misinformation. After you login on each Apple device, you can store every login credential to each app in iCloud so no matter what Apple device you use, Apple will provide the login information. Actually if you use Face ID, you are not even prompted for a userid and password.
Always use 2 factor authentication to make sure it’s you and when Apple prompts you to enter a long secure password, use it because these passwords that are generated will take decades up to hundreds of years to crack.
Safari, if this is what the OP is using, all login credentials for each site you go to can be saved in iCloud. You won’t use Face ID, but everything else is the same.
I use safari 99.9% of the time unless a site is coded using parts that apple doesn’t support (JavaScript, css, or html incompatibilities) or you have configured safari to not run certain code or applied extensions that restrict safari.

Again, misinformation and fake news.

All the above *depends* on the individual user and their specific needs, wants and preferences.

IF you opt use the Apple/iCloud recommended password system, your doomed when you try to sign in on another device, not logged into the same iCloud account. I defy anyone to remember the login passwords generated by the system and Ft. Knox doesn't need such a sophisticated security system.

Personally, I use 2 cell phones and they each use different iCloud accounts. For those who believe iCloud is infallible, I can tell you from experience, they are not. I ran across an iCloud glitch that would have lost years worth of data, except that I had another backup. The glitch was so bad, that Apple compensated me.

The use of Face ID is controlled not only by the system you're using, but by the App you're using. For example, with most banking software, you need to affirmatively authorize the App to use Face ID and most every time you upgrade your system, the setting will change.

As for Safari not support JavaScript or CSS, that's simply nonsense, see the attached.

Ah, that may be true, but it’s worth a try. I’ve always had help w/o AppleCare, but do keep my devices up to date (max of 4 years old), so that may be the reason.

Call Apple directly. They are extremely helpful and even answer on the weekends with English speaking reps.

I am not very computer friendly. What is a "forced stop"?

This will remove any incorrect login data and let you log in new.
Now open safari and log in again to TOTV. Make sure you are using the correct password.
I use Chrome.
