Default Looking for a good flat top barber

I’m here until April from Michigan.

My old barber, Linda, retired in December as I was leaving.

She used to take 20 minutes to round the edges, blow it so all the hair stood up straight, and make sure it was level.

I used to get compliments on her work.

So I’m looking for advice on a barber that takes their time and does a good flat top. Not anyone that takes 5 minutes. They’re okay, but not what I’m used to or looking for.

(The search function did not get me any results).

I’m starting to look like a Chia Pet!

Thanks to any and all replies.

Karl

I always wanted a good flat top haircut. My hair is very fine and limp and thinning. My head is lumpy and lopsided. Never got the flat top.

Either Keith or Joe at Cal’s in Brownwood will do a great job for you.

I ran across a young man a month or so ago at Great Clips. One of the other cutters started my flattop and left it in a bit of a mess. He was able to make it look great. I wish I could remember his name! In my last couple of visits, he was not working.

My mantra is: the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is three days. I guess a really bad haircut needs five.
