We have two sets of clubs that need new grips. Would like recommendations as to the best place to go and about how much it would cost. Thanks for any help.

Birdies golf on 466 east. 6 to 8 bucks (depends on grip selected) including installation. Usually do it while you wait.

I've used the golf store in Brownwood a few times. It was 10 bucks a club if I remember right.

The golf shop on 466 near Morse is the best and least expensive. Large selection of grips and labor is free.

Do a search for golf club grips on amazon, a product comes up that you wind over the old grips, easy and quick, I’ve used them and like them.

You don't need a vice to change golf club grips. You only need is a utility knife with a hook blade to cut the old grip off. Order the grips and tape on-line. If the tape needs solvent, some use water, buy a can of naptha at Ace. Youtube is your friend.

I just put a new set of grips on mine my self. I cut the old grips off and put the new ones on using my air compressor. Check it out on YouTube. Clubs are dry and ready to play. No messy solution. ![]() ![]() |

If cost is an issue use Amazon.com to purchase the grips and watch the many u-tube videos to learn how to regrip. It take a little practice (2-3 tries) but well worth the effort.
12-14 grips for $25-$35 including the 2 sided tape. I regrip every year including my friends clubs and cost ends up about $30-$40 for the set. |

What price did you get when you did a google and called the stores?

Every place I went to get my clubs regripped, it was in the price of the grips. Besides now I do my own, it’s very simple. The hardest part is taking the old ones off & getting new grips on all the same way.
