First, go to the county building department and get a copy of your plat (plot) plan with all of the setbacks and other restrictions. With this document you can go to ARC for approval of the pool and any auxiliary facilities. If approved, you can then get the surveyor to stake your property and the limits of the construction. You may need multiple ARC submittals as engineering drawings are required for some projects, like birdcages around the pool.
I suggest this approach as ARC review costs nothing and typically takes a couple of weeks, it will also identify if other documentation is needed before you start sinking money into surveys, etc.

As VillageTinker said, you probably don't need a survey or Surveyor to figure out how much space you have or to decide what will fit.

If you get it all approve and you're a very tight lot, I would have a Registered PSM do the construction layout, not the pool contractor. It's not fun to build a pool and find out the layout was botched and you're too close to a setback line.
