Default Lottery - 1st golf cart across new bridges

What do y'all think about the developer having a raffle/drawing for the 1st golf carts to cross the new golf cart bridges (maybe the 1st 10 carts). The proceeds from the sale of the raffle tickets could go to charity. The Villages has 3 golf cart bridges coming online, so it would be 3 separate raffles and events.

I love the idea. If it's all the same I'll be 2nd though. Want to make sure it will stand up before I go across.

I will sign up for the lottery if there is a functioning Championship golf course on the other side of the bridge?

Not try to be a naysayer, but how would you control the people who want to stake out an early spot in line? Tough logistics and ‘fairness’ issues imho.

Easy set up a holding area say 100 yards before the bridge and have a shotgun start.

Would pay to see the race.

There already are championship courses on the other side and everyone south of 44 that want's to play Championship golf will be heading north to do so. Better get your tee times early.

Corten steel is supposed to look rusty and it won't "rust out" it is maintenance free with one exception, any concrete below it will be stained.

If they don’t have a lottery, you will have people camping out at the bridges days in advance ,so they can say i was FIRST, and get their picture in the paper
