Default Love bugs??

The whole west side of our house is covered with love bugs right now. It is currently the shady side of the house. I thought love bug season was around September and May. Anyone else have this problem now? I better call the "bug" guy!

Hubby saw one yesterday on the Churchill Greens course. I thought he was nuts until I saw your post.

No need to call the "bug guy", the coming cold snap will take care of them.

Thought I saw one flying around my back door the other day, but was sure I was nuts as well. I wish they would all come out so they could get their lovely butts frozen tomorrow night.

A lovely sentiment with which I wholeheartedly agree.

I feel kinda sorry for the littler buggers...just imagine, they only live to procreate..they wake up...mate ...die. Now think for a minute, what if they pick a bug that they are incompatible with...or one that can't perform..or what if they are gay, do you have any idea how hard it would be to find a partner??? How about the fact that they have to do it on 'the fly'...with God knows how many people watching. I can't think of a worse coitus interruptus than hitting a windshield at 70MPH.

Trish.

I never thought of it that they were trying to make babies. I just thought, well, you know.......they were just, umm, getting busy.

I mean, they all seem to be smiling...........but...........I mean if you know you are gonna die, wouldn't you.....? umm.

Your post reminds me of the hilarious opening scene with the bug on the windshield in Men in Black
