Default Low level Water Aerobic Class

I have been told there is a starter/lower level/easy Water Aerobic class at one of the pools, does anyone have information on this please.

Might be in the "RECREATION NEWS" on Thursday in the "Daily Sun".

Thanks for your reply. I have gone through the Rec News, page by page. It would be more helpful if instead of giving the name of the club, they would give a heading such as "swimming or Dancing etc." and then put the club below the heading. Hopefully, someone will see my post and have some information for me.

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you but I just wanted to say I agree with your assessment of the Rec News. Although I'm grateful to have it available to us, I find the format not very user-friendly when trying to find a specific type of class/club. Your suggestion to group them differently would make it much easier to use.

Good luck with your search. I hope someone on here has the answer for you.

I have found some more information. In the Rec News turn to the page with Savannah Pool. Every day, other than Sunday, there is a class called Critters Water Aerobics 9:00 to 9:50am. This is the one I was looking for, no swimming, purely exercise for the upper body with some lower body thrown in. I am told you have to get there early because it is busy.

Actually you can make any water class your own, to slow it down. I have found however in some classes you can not take it up couple notches, cause some just got their hair done, and I make too much splashing.

The Recreation News is just a sampling of the clubs and activities. Plus, the info can't always be relied on. A club I belong to has had wrong info published again and again despite trips to the Daily Sun office to get it corrected.

Try Bonnie King class at Lake Miona on Tues, thurs, and Saturday's. The class has been going on for years but new people always come. You do whatever to your ability level on that day! It's fun and people often stay and just walk in the water after class. As with Critters class which is also good, get their early.
