Ownig a LSV ,can you drive on golfcart paths and use it for golf?
Also insurance,I got a quote of over700.00 for a year,I asked about a 1/2 year but was told that might be a problem with registration.I know I can insure a car in CT. for a 6 month term,is Fl. Different?Any recommendations or insurance companies?

You can drive a LSV on the cart paths. As to the insurance question I think you have to keep it insured or surrender the plate to avoid having your drivers license suspended. Read this. Allstate has a six month policy and you can suspend coverage's while in storage. You only have to keep property damage and no fault. When you come back you just reinstate the other coverage's.

Yes, you can drive anywhere the golf carts go, paths, on the golf course (assuming you have golf cart not street tires). Get more quotes, my LSV insurance is about $300 a year, it's treated as a second car on the policy.

you Don't have to have insurance on a standard golf cart, however, you use a golf cart here far more than just for golf...you don't want to be in a cart accident and wind up with someone else owning your home
