Default Mail Pickup

Just wondering.... what time do most of you pickup your mail? It seems early afternoon, just after the carriers leave, is not the time to go. It can be a challenge to park your vehicle, and safely retrieve your mail. At times the amount of traffic and commotion there is not unlike what we see at the opening day of a new restaurant or food market here in TV. Standing in line to pickup the mail.

I'm sure the experience at each rec. center/postal facility is different. I usually pick up my mail between 1:00 & 2:30 p.m. at Amelia and have never found excessive traffic. Of course, some people use this as a social meeting place. Nothing wrong with that as there's plenty of parking.

Usually pick mine up in Santiago around 4-ish. Get there before the hour and no problem. Seems to be waves of people around or shortly after the hours.

At Hadley, after 2pm seems to be the time all the mail is sorted for the day. We get there around 3pm and no traffic to speak of.

2nd most dangerous is getting out of the church parking lot. Especially if you didn't back into the space!

I go at 1:30 during the week. The Springdale postal station is pretty civilized and we have no problems with parking, etc.
