Default Mailing USPS package

I have a prepaid USPS package to mail. Is there a way to mail it from our postal stations. I really don't want to go to the post office. It will not fit in the mail slot. I thought of leaving it in my mailbox with a note but I don't know if that is appropriate. Please advise...thank you in advance.

If your package is Next Delivery Day , Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail , or First-Class Package Service-Commercial, you can schedule a pickup at your home using the UPSP website.

If not, I've handed packages directly to our carrier, on many occasions, at the postal station when she is stuffing the boxes. I'd be willing to bet they'd happily pick it up if you left it in your individual box.

There is a Postoffice just down the road in Coleman off 301 on the right side (look for the little sign), maybe one mile from the main entrance of Fenney if that. Note, They are closed between noon and 1:00 PM and may not be open on Saturdays. Strange hours down here. I guess this is only good for those of us living south of 44, another one in the Wildwood Plaza on 301.

You don't indicate what village you live in, but try this. Call the Lady Lake post office and ask them.

Knock on the back door of the postal station while the people are there and they will probably take it.

There is UPS Store in Pinellas Plaza and a Pack and Ship in Colony. Both will take USPS stuff.

I am always more confident that my pkg will arrive if I take it to the USPS office itself.
Fruitland Park, Wildwood, Oxford and Coleman all have offices in addition to the large Lady Lake office.
If it is prepaid, labeled, then just can just drop it in the slot, big blue box outside or at the counter.
I believe it will go out same day from a USPS Office, while it may take an additional day if given to our neighborhood carriers. (Because they have to go back to LL and turn those pkgs in, which could be well after the 5:00 cut off to go out that day)

Not probably, they will take a package.

I take mine to Safe Ship in Colony all the time. I print the paid label on my computer from my account at Welcome | USPS and take it there. They will even give you a receipt if you need it or just take it. I feel much more comfortable mailing it from there than through our mail station.

I agree....use the Safe Ship at Mulberry. Convenient and items ship safely and quickly.

I'm actually surprised that the Post Office doesn't have a satellite branch within the Villages itself. Considering TV is bigger than some designated towns in this country, it should by now have its own zip code, or at the very least, an RFD designation and a receiving desk at each of the Sales Offices.
