Manned gates during the night
I read on this forum that the entry gates in TV south of 466 are not manned from midnight to 6am. I don't recall which thread this was mentioned in so I'm starting a new thread to voice my concerns.
How do the visitors gain entry to a village when the entry gates are not manned during the night? What happens if the gate malfunctions and the resident can not gain entry? What happens if the "wand" the resident has, malfunctions and doesn't open the gate?

All the gates are linked to a central, 24 hour, staffed monitoring center. Based on the push of the call button, they can communicate with the driver and raise the gate arms. This applies to both visitor and resident side of the entry gate. Not a problem.

TV is not a gated community, it is a community with a lot of gates. Most gates have a red button on the pad where residents wave their card. If you don't have a card press the red button and the gate will open (yes for anyone), don't forget to smile for the camera though.......gn

Quote:
This system of gates in TV is not a true "gated community" but it seems the gates do act as a deterrent.
