Grew up in Baltimore City and graduated from Western High School when it was all girls and located on Howard Street. Married a super guy I met at the Univ. of MD and lived and taught in Anne Arundel County for 35 years. Moved to the Village of Bridgeport-Edgewater Bungalows-September 25 of this year. I'll miss steamed blue crabs, crab cakes and trips to the Eastern Shore and Ocean City. Having said that, I can say that while I don't particularly like Florida, I LOVE the TV!

I went to Western when it was an all girls school too! I don't remember it being on Howard Street. I think I must have been before your time.

Welcome!! We have been here since Jan 1997. Moved from Bel Air, MD in Harford County. Recommend joining the Maryland Club, which is now called the Mid Atlantic Club for folks from MD, DC, VA and DE. You made a good decision coming to TV. Nothing like it anywhere.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!
You won't have to miss MD crab cakes. They have them here in one of the
Country Clubs, Hacienda Hills,, if I remember.
My wife is from Bel Air and she says they are the best.

Default Marylanders --anyone from Baltimore, Bethesda, Potomac, D.C?

Born & raised in Balmur. Lived 30 years in Columbia before retiring to Ocean City. Grew to hate the winters there. I can remember when Memorial Day meant hot weather at the beach. Now it's still cold in July. Calling Gilchrist my home now, for good.

I think it's the Delmarva club that another poster referred to, not exclusive to Marylanders. FYI, there are active Ravens and Redskins groups here too.

Bring your Old Bay seasonlng. You'll probably want to take it with you to any local restaurant offering crab cakes. Local chefs don't know what it is.
