There use to be a Crown station on that corner. My dentist in the late 80's early 90's was next to the station. Dr. Sandy Cook, the singing dentist. I've got about a dozen crowns courtesy of him. He was the dentist that use to have commercials on TV where he was playing his guitar and singing. Told great stories about his airplane and flying down to Myrtle Beach every chance he had. Unfortunately his fast lifestyle caught with him, I think he was busted for cocaine and never heard anymore about him.

My husband and I were born and raised in Baltimore County (me) and Baltimore City (him). We settled on our house in Fernandina last year and visit as often as possible. We've heard about the crab cakes at Hacienda- during the Ravens game. So glad we'll still have access to great crab cakes. By the way, Gino's is back in Baltimore County- good but not quite as good as the original I remember. Avid Ravens fans - look for the house with the Ravens sign post! Can't wait to get to TV full time!

When we first moved here in 2011 I heard Hacienda Hills was the watching spot for the Ravens and about the crab cakes. I never went since I have NFL Sunday Ticket and watch ever Ravens game at home. However, we went to Hacienda Hills for a Crab Feast Oct of 2012 and I had heard the manager that put that together had moved out of the area.

The last info I've heard was that the manager at Beef O'Brady's at Mulberry was a big Ravens fan and served crab cakes when the Ravens played and a lot of fans went there. However, I've never gone during a game. In the south area, O'Sheas across from Brownwood had a complete Ravens Room set up for the games, but unfortunately they went out of business about six months ago. I was told last season by a bartender at Sonny's that many Ravens fans go to Gators Dockside at Spanish Springs for the games.

Yes, you'll need Directv for NFL Sunday Ticket. In fact we dropped Comcast for Directv while back in Harford County in 2008 and when we moved we just brought our two boxes with us. If you do that they'll give you some discounts when they hook your system back up in Florida. Otherwise, the local games are the Jaguars and Buccaneers, not exactly excitement, plus I've never missed a Ravens game.

I'm still back and forth from St Mary's County. I've met a great number of Marylanders here in TV. I'm 6 mo on, 6 mo off.... Enjoying!

You won't have to miss MD crab cakes. The chef at La Hacienda is from the Eastern shore and makes terrific crab cakes. More meat than filler.
