Default May need plumber

My toilet is stopped up. In the past, I have been able to fix it, but maybe not so this time. Suggestions please, for if I need, a plumber that will come out same day with fair pricing.

Thank you.

Try Torri plumbing, 352-330-5900
I’ve used them a few times and they were good and very reasonable!
Came out pretty fast as I recall.

Neighbor had small backup in the drains when using them and called a plumber who cleaned out the line at the clean out and found disposable wipes. Just a thought.

I use Mike Scott Plumbing.

You may want to buy a plunger that uses compressed air or gas instead of the regular type.

Default Don't Use Mike Scott

We had used Mike Scott for a few jobs in the past. They installed a kitchen faucet in Mar 2025 and it came loose in Jan 2026. I have never had a faucet loose in my lifetime. It was installed by a trainee and checked by his partner.

I asked if they would come out to fix it and expected this should be free as it was within one year. They refused to come out and fix the problem unless I paid for a service call, citing that since it wasn't "their" faucet, it was not covered. Clearly they d0 not back their own service.

Be careful with this stuff as it’s acid. If it does not clean the line out then the plumber will have to deal with acidic chemicals laying in the clean out and most likely it will not dissolve a disposable wipe backup anyhow. If you have had ongoing issues with backup then most likely it will need a plumber to snake out the line and the cost could be $500 or more.

Chlorox, let it sit a bit and plunge. Don't ask how much, but I use a good amount and now you can get a concentrated one too.
