Default Middleton Golf car connectivity

Golf car connectivity coming on 11/17

Get ready to venture out, Middleton! We're putting the finishing touches on the Multi-Modal Trails that lead you to a variety of experiences. Choose your favorite mode of transportation and follow the trails to enjoy a day at Sawgrass Grove, Grove, an evening of entertainment in Brownwood, or a visit with friends and family. You'll soon be able to make your way along the trails, over the Southern Oaks Bridge and beyond.

LOTS of folks there already. Phase 2 seems to be moving well.

Does this mean you will be able to go from Linden to Sawgrass on a cart without going all the way down to the Water Lilly bridge ?

Where is Middleton in relation to Brownwood? What Villages is it near?

I can't find a map that has it on there.

Middleton by The Villages

Just southwest of Marshbend Trail and 470.

Here's an interactive map of the Villages.

I thought the developer stated that Middleton residents would have their own amenities and not use ours ? Is the MMP along Meggison not the responsibility of the "District" ? I understand that some of Sawgrass is not an amenity, but the facilities at Ezell and the Putt and Play are.

It really would've been nice if they prioritized getting the golf cart paths along Corbin trail/McNeil drive up and running seeing as it would benefit so many existing villagers south of Warm Springs in getting to the Sawgrass area more directly.

You mean compared to how quickly they got the roads open to the new schools?

I'm sure GoldWingnut could estimate better but McNeil, Corbin and the MMP are paved to Bexely Trail. Probably won't open until the landscaping is in place. Maybe 2-3 months.

Connecting Reagan Rd to McNeil may not be far behind.

I was at the end of Corbin about a week ago and of course I saw 3 to 4 golf carts using it on a Sunday. The temptation is going to be there because it will save about 20 minutes getting to Sawgrass and Southern Oaks. It will also save time for those on the east side of the turnpike who are playing Executive courses in the Fenney area. An absolute deadline for opening will be next spring when the new course opens up. They will want the people south of 44 easy access to support the new course. But we all hope it is opened before then.
