Railcruiser was very helpful. Usually I think this was via Private Messages. I knew the couple in person too.

Are you thinking of Villages PL? He was a serious vegan who became one after reading the book "The China Study." He suddenly stopped posting. Jimbo2012, another vegan, is still here. He posted that he had moved to one of The Villages south of 44. I enjoyed their postings about their diets.

Summary of May 6, 1965 Twin Cities Tornadoes
I ran into a lurker who asked me if I was Tal or something like that and she ended up describing her experiences during a May 6, 1965 tornado in the Minneapolis area that destroyed some of the school at which she worked. 50 years later, north metro recalls killer tornadoes - StarTribune.com She did tell me her handle but I forget it. I believe the last one you mentioned is still here. I respect your honesty and opinion but don’t share your point of view at all. That’s what makes the world go around. He wouldn’t be cold in a white frilly Seinfeld shirt.

Great Job! How could I forget Carl From Tampa? I’m getting old that’s how.
So many took a powder because they wouldn’t stand for the abusive garbage from others. I believe John W bailed out before and returned. He saved me a bundle $$$ when I bought a new car in Florida. Great Poster. Hopefully he’ll be back |

J. S. McDonnell, Founder and then President of McDonnell Aircraft in St. Louis, would include an obscure word into an occasional memo to his vice-presidents and some directors. He would then find an opportunity at some time to use the word in a conversation with one or more them. He then would asked them what the word meant in the current context of the conversation. The first results of his experiment made it company policy that the ALL salaried personnel would be given a dictionary, this would include ALL salaried new hires. I still had mine after 37 years of employment there.
