Default Moffit Cancer Center ground breaking in paper today.

Front page headlines and picture in Daily Sun for those of you off campus.

Lining up with shovels in the picture were Sumter county commissioner Doug Gilpin, Lee Huntley, president and CEO of Central Florida Health Alliance, Tim Hawkins, CEO of The Villages Hospital System; Craig Stevens, Department of Radiation Oncology chairman, H.Lee Moffitt Cancer Center; Barry Asch, Radiation Therapy department administrator, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Rachel Edwards Gibbs and John Stevenson of Edwards Constructions Services, Inc.; Evan Richards of Central Florida Health Alliance board and The Villages Homeowners Association; Russ D'Emilio of The Villages Homeowners Association; and Gary Lester, The Villages' vice president of community relations.

No Morse family members were in the picture, unless they have differerent last names.

I kind of expected to see one of them.

Wonder why?

Anyway, another good thing happening here in The Villages.

I like that fact that they go about their business and stay out of the limelight. They are opposite of people who talk the talk, but never walk the walk.

Lots of good things can be accomplished if you don't care who gets the credit

Great news for a much needed facility.
