This should not lead to a serious discussion by intelligent people because it's not meant for intelligent people.

Money Magazine should be ashamed! Whoever wrote that article must be smoking funny cigarettes. We know 4 of those "wonderful" cities intimately, and they would probably be on our list of "Never, never go there!" They have GOT to be kidding!

The main reason The Villages is not listed is because the list is titled "Best Places to Live 2015", not "Best Places to Retire". First off, anyone with kids under 19 can't live here, that's going to eliminate more than half of the working population. Secondly, what are really any good paying jobs here? Medical field, teachers, business owner.

My golfing partner's 22 year old daughter just graduated from the University of S. Florida in Tampa with an accounting degree. She hasn't even passed her CPA license yet and she started off making $900 a week in Tampa and they are paying her expenses to get her CPA so they can bill their clients more money.

A chair has four lega and a horse has four legs. Does that mean a chair and a horse are the same?

These types of articles relect what he magazine/writer want to express and doesn't hold much weight. IMHO

I live in Cary NC, right next to Apex, NC, the town that came in 1st. This rating was for small cities that had populations under 50,000.
