I am not single, but I've been so impressed by the friendships made by the people on this BB alone and it has nothing to do with one's marital status. So, I echo what the other posters have said. Although I'm not arriving till summer of 2013, so I don't speak from experience, I would move to TV married or single. I can't think of another community that would be so welcoming.

I am a single male wannabe that plans on moving to TV and I don't have the slightest reservation about the ability to make new friends. I feel I have made a few friends from this forum. If you listen to "The Mayor", (KathieI, post 13), you will probably have more friends than you could ever imagine.

A lifetyle visit would be a good idea coinciding with a Crispers luncheon on the third Friday of the month when TOTV members will be there.

BTW - Love you KathieI.

Hi Kathie,
Thanks so much for your response. I am planning on being in TV in February. I will contact you then. I look forward to meeting you!

Now, my friendship list is enormous and between Dianne (Chachacha) and I, we post a lot of the singles forum and usually hold meet & greets for newbies coming to town. We did just that the other night with DJohnson and 90% of the rest of our group. I think she had a lot of fun, and also made a lot of new friends that night and she is so delightful, she added a lot to our group.

Please please, let us know when you visit and we will be sure to meet up with you. The best way is to post on here or to send us a PM. Please don't be shy, we love bringing in new people to our group. Hope to hear from you soon. Kathie

Hi Veronica,

I am not a single, but we have only one child and she lives in Australia. You would be so very welcome to share the holidays with us and more, if you choose. We know what it is like to be alone for holidays and other events. Please seriously think about moving down here and we would love to keep in touch!

How's that saying go? "New friends are people you haven't met yet?"

Hello, my mom who is a vibrant 91 yr. old, is wanting to move to TV and I'm trying to find a thread where I might discover a widow who would like a roommate. Any ideas anyone?

We have several singles in our village of 53 home. Three girls and a boy and a pair of girls too.

There are a lot of singles who seem to enjoy it here and I know we enjoy them a LOT.
