I've done similar things. However, bulk mail does not get returned to sender. Does it work? We never know. Somethings just cure themselves.

It's getting so bad, it isn't worth the trip to walk down the driveway.

No I don't need earing aids
No I have enough credit cards
No I don't want/need a new car
No I don't want to sell my house

Save this crap for the snow-birds
Wait till the snowbirds return and take all the T times then you'll have something to complain about.
I'll be returning around Nov 15

The junk mail covers most of the Post Office’s costs. Small price to pay for the convenience of daily, including Saturday, delivery. Be careful what you wish for.

And for every 1,000 pieces they get a toaster!

Talk about 1st world problems! Thank goodness we all live where we do. How would we handle real problems that 1/2 the world does? I include myself. I am spoiled and I know it. I will handle these inconveniences and remind myself that they ARE inconveniences and really not problems. But sometimes I do forget, so remind me when I do. 😁

I have the same thought about TAX FORMS.

The truth, THE REALITY, other than fine quality paper, most paper is made from wood pulp. It comes from trees that are actually farm raised. Same is true for most construction lumber.

I am a bit of a tree hugger BUT, the environmentalists, seem to be totally blind to the paper they use, the fuel they burn and the forest fires in Calif are a miracle. They do not produce CO2, or any smoke etc. Heck those trees do not as all other plants do, capture CO2 and release oxygen.

I think the major affect on the environment is the fuel and transportation of the junk mail to deliver it to people around the country, and then the fuel and transportation to pick it up and disposed of it. What a waste!

Then the mail center police would complain that people are putting too much trash in those cans and should carry it home to put it in your trash.

Believe it or not have seen several threads on this.

Are you saying that Federal employee postal workers don't make more money than RNs? Maybe not in direct salary, but, when you consider the pay and benefits, I think the postal workers make more money. Almost every Federal career job is worth well over $100K per year in pay and benefits.

The irony of this all, company's pay big bucks to mail these junk mailings and write it off as a advertising expense.

What you need is a junk mail pelletizer and a pellet grill.
