Default Is it my imagination or did they lower the price on Designer homes?

We bought a lot in Pennecamp and plan to start building a Begonia at the end of this year. I could almost swear the price of the Begonia was $211,900 or very close to that. It is now listed at $208,500. We never wrote down the price so we don't know how to find out. Does anyone know if this is a reduced price? I'll bet someone on TOTV will know.

I do think that you are right.

When we priced out our Begonia last month the base was 208K but prior to that it was 211K. I think the difference is in the elevations. I think they added a new base elevation choice for 208K. The one we chose was base 214K which provides high ceiling in the front bedroom/den.

But after we added: tile in all areas but the bedrooms, walk in shower, blinds, stainless appliance package, 2 foot stretch, washer and dryer and a few other goodies it was $245K. Going down next month to final price and select.

On 4/16/2010 it had a starting price of $211,900.

On 5/31/2010 it had a starting price of $212,00.

On 6/1/2010 it had a starting price of $208,500.

In reviewing my information the only thing I can see different in the spec sheet is in that tile flooring has been dropped.

Sounds like they are experimenting with price-point.

I know at 208K it was that tile looking vinyl floor. Not bad looking though.
