Default Rude awakening

For the past 2 mornings we have been awakened before 8am with what I am guessing is a lawn service? Loud mechanical noises that last about 20-30 minutes. Are there rules about how early lawn services can start? I miss my quiet mornings.

Get used to it. They can legally start at 7 AM.

From the document entitled External Deed Restrictions
External Noise - External noise refers to sounds being made outside of the home, for example lawn mowers or lawn equipment, radios, amplified music, etc., and should be kept to a moderate level. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until one hour before daybreak

They have to make living while the sun shines

When our part of the Villages was still developing and we just bought our lot

I introduced myself to few neighbors were just moving in and suggested.
Lets fine a lawn company that we can all agree on have them preform our mowing and landscaping.

Thought being if one Landscaper does all mowing shrub care for several homes on same street we can likely get a break

Landscaper won't have to bounce around like chickens with there head cut off. Mow for 10 minutes load up head to next lawn who knows where
The second was will only have to listen to lawn equipment one day a week.. Being a Villager yourself You know how that went

Fell on deaf ears as the saying goes now ended up with upwards of 6 or more different landscapers here all hours of the day

I know when I was cutting my own lawn when we first moved here when the grass is not dormant I had to do it as early as possible or as late as possible because of the heat and I'm not getting any younger. Now I let them youngun's do it!

Gotta get up early to beat the landscapers. I mow my own lawn and sometimes feel that 8:00 is too late during the summer months as it get's hot as soon as the sun starts shining.

If you live on a golf course they start mowing around 5:30-6:00 in the summer.

Yawn...you can not please everyone. Personally 7 or 7:30 is fine as long as it's people making a living. As to loud cars, music and motorcycles well they can kiss my you know what as I will call the police and they will tell them to knock if off.

Cannot blame landscapers for getting an early start before it gets so hot.

Yep, yet again, same experience ! We seem to always mow in the same routine we were used to during pre-retirement years; on the weekends and in the evening ! Lived in some nice suburbs where some were well off, but never in a neighborhood where so many hire profession gardeners/lawn groomers for such relatively small lawns as most (not all of course) are here. Way back way a shock to see someone on a riding tractor going between homes that could not accommodate a tractor without going on the property of the home next door, now, used to it, LOL ! Now EVERY day of the week (we too were surprised even Sat. and Sun. are fair game, wonder why they are no restrictions when most places do have some restraints ?

You're complaining about missing your quiet morning? You're bored!
