Default Need a foot doctor NOW

Wifey hurt her foot last night. She is walking with pain. Inflamed and veins showing. Anyone who can recommend a pediatrist in the area.

Dr. Chad Watkins. Search his name to find out more.

A trip to the ER might be a better option for now. trying to find a podiatrist on a weekend or getting a appointment first thing on Monday might be difficult.

I agree. Sounds like a break or a strain. You need an xray.

Urgent care on 466 will also be a better choice than waiting. Getting a quick appointment with a podiatrist will be next to impossible. I just tried to get one with Dr Scholl (no joke that's his name) and was told I had to wait until 3/27.

You're family doctor might also be able to help.

Good luck.

Our problem is our family doctor is in NY. We haven't had time yet to find someone in TV. WE snow bird 6/6. I told her to not walk on it and to ice it. But wifey never listens.

I saw Dr. Felix Esarey at Tri County Podiatry in Lady Lake and loved him. One regular visit and one follow up and my problem was solved. Would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I am not a doctor but I am a mom and we have had quite a few breaks in our home. (Everyone inherited my GRACE )It sounds like the right doctor for this thing right now is an orthopedic one, not a podiatrist and the orthopedic one will be called for you at the ER.

I hope it isn't broken...but it isn't fixed either.

I think there is an Urgent Care place open on the weekends up
on 441 in the shopping plaza where Comcast is located.

First, I'd go to an Urgent Care facility today to see if they can Xray it. My daughter broke three toes a year ago (not here) and was treated by foot doctors where she lives. I think if it is serious, a podiatrist will work her in on Monday. I go to Dr. Wu at Tri-County but there are three doctors there, so maybe one can see her.

I had a hairline fracture of my ankle and saw Dr. Felix Esary. He is great and the practice is topnotch. I've heard good things about his partner Dr. Wu who was also mentioned.

Do the Urgent Care thing this weekend first to find out the issues. If you actually "NEED" a foot doctor I too recommend Dr. Wu. He's very personable and also is a great doc. Best wishes for your wife!!!
