Default Need Help Getting Privacy

We just put a Hot tub in the corner of our Bird Cage. Other than planting a forest outside the cage, what ideas do y'all have for privacy from the neighbors and the street while we sit in the tub. I don't want to scare anyone with my pot belly nor my hairy back.

you can also buy and install other types of screens - for instance, we get too much morning sun on the east side of our lanai in certain seasons, so we installed one of those roll down screens to filter - helps a lot with the heat. We got the lighter one and you can still see thru it, but not as well.

There was a heavier gauge choice that limits visibility more, but am not sure what it's like at night looking thru from the outside. Lowe's and Home Depot both carry them. Think they come in 8 ft, 10 ft and 12 ft standard widths but can also special order. Starts at under $200 if I'm remembering correctly.

Lots of people have these on their lanais, mostly for sun reasons I think. Ask a neighbor who has one to turn on their lanai lights at night and take a look from outside.

Have also seen on some houses a screen that lets air thru but has some kind of scene on it and appears to be a one-way view from inside?

I think that's different than a Shoji screen.

Check out the Market of Marion on 441. It has a couple of screen dealers near the entrance. You can choose between manual and motorized.

You'd better hurry. I heard a rumor that one of the great photographers on TOTV is heading your way.

I saw this on a home when we were looking for a place on a website. They had put lattice up on the inside. It was hard to see the overall look because it only showed a section of this but it looked kind of nice. It still would let in a lot of light and air but it would also lend some privacy. Has anyone tried this?

Sam's Club has some nice roll up shades. Just buy the width of your spaces between upright and hang one or two. Also, you could rescreen some panels with privacy screen. Several homes that back on the street have done this.
