Nice place for sure, but $500/night might not be in the newlywed's budget...and that's off-season.

Check out visitdunedinfl.com

They have a beautiful spa, breweries, great restaurants, trolley down the beaches and can get pictures on honeymoon island.

There are actually six. I just listed the top three.

Port Canaveral 8.60 million passengers

PortMiami 8.56 million passengers

Port Everglades 4.77 million passengers

Port of Tampa Bay 1.66 million passengers

Port of Palm Beach about 300,000 passengers

JAXPORT about 200,000 passengers

Default Honeymoon

Friends say Amelia island, just north of Jacksonville is lovely with a great spa and beach. I understand it's quite expensive. Check it out

It's probably been a while................ But $500/nite at a premium resort is not crazy any more.

Would not take much of a budget for a few nights at a great place like the one mentioned..

Sunset Island resort and dinner at their restaurant is also a good Key West option.
